[ARCHIVED] Dinwiddie BOS Recognizes Volunteer Firefighter for 50 Years of Service

The Dinwiddie County Board of Supervisors recognized William "Bill" Queen at its meeting on November 19, 2013. Mr. Queen has been a member of the Namozine Volunteer Fire Department since October 1962. He has served at every rank within the department from Firefighter to Chief and has served several terms on the Board of Directors. Mr. Queen is also known for his abilities to fabricate, build and repair just about anything in fire station. He is often referred to as the "magic man" by the other members of the department for these incredible abilities. Mr. Queen attended the night meeting of the Board on November 19 and was presented with the official resolution recognizing his service to Namozine Volunteer Fire Department and the citizens of Dinwiddie County.
