The Dinwiddie Citizens Academy is an eight-week course designed to provide citizens with an overview of Dinwiddie County Government. During the Academy participants will meet their Board of Supervisors, County Administrator, and Directors of all County departments. In addition to learning about how each department functions, participants will have opportunities to tour a variety of County facilities, speak directly with County leaders, and learn more about how to get
involved.
The first Citizens Academy was a tremendous success! Our Fall 2023 Citizens Academy is full. Stay tuned for information on our 2024 Citizens Academies!
