Program Description
Learn the fundamentals of basketball, including passing, shooting, dribbling, and teamwork. This league is designed for boys and girls ages 5-15 years old. Co-Ed Teams will be formed based on a universal draft for the minors, juniors, seniors and super senior divisions. Instructors: Volunteer Coaches
Ages: 5-15 year olds / Age Cut-Off: January 1, 2025
Resident Rate: $65.00 per participant / Non-Resident Rate: $75.00 per participant
Season: December through February
Early Bird Registration: September 22, 2025 to October 5, 2025
Standard League Registration: October 6, 2025 to November 21, 2025
Parent Requests:
Due to the high number of ride share and practice day requests we receive each season, if you have a request please send it to athletics@dinwiddieva.us
Requests include: 1) Any siblings that need to be on the same age group team 2) Any ride share / car pooling needs due to medical issues 3) Any practice day requests due to scheduling conflicts 4) We will NOT accept requests for specific coaches however, we will honor requests to not have a specific coach
Please note that due to high enrollment of programs and the need for multiple fields, different age groups will be practicing/playing games at different locations. It is possible that siblings in different age groups might have a practice or game at the same time in a different location.
Additional Program Information:
- Skills Evaluations will be held December 8th and 9th, 2025
- Practice will begin January 5th & 6th, 2026
- Games for Instructional will begin January 31st, 2026
- Games for Minors & Juniors will begin January 17th, 2026
- Games for Seniors & Super Seniors will begin January 10th, 2026
- Certain age groups will travel to other locations!
- Prince George will host the end of season tournament on March 13th - 15th
- Instructional (5-6), Minors (7-8), Juniors (9-10), Seniors (11-12), Super Seniors (13-15)
