Program Description
This program focuses on the team aspect of cheerleading, along with emphasizing the basics of camaraderie, trust, dedication, and spirit. The teams will cheer for the Dinwiddie County Parks and Recreation youth football teams. Instructors: Volunteer Coaches
Ages: 6-11 year olds / Age Cut-Off: July 31, 2025
***Ages 12+ will cheer for the Middle School team
Resident Rate: $65.00 per participant | Non Resident Rate: $75.00 per participant
Season: August through November
Early Bird Registration: May 20, 2025 through June 1, 2025 ($10 off per registrant)
Standard League Registration: June 2, 2025 through July 18, 2025 *Multi-Child Discount Applies - Save $10 per additional registrant
Register in-person at the Eastside Enhancement Center and Ragsdale Community Center
Cheer Season Information
- Cheer Parents Meeting | August 1, 2025 | 5:30pm @ Eastside Enhancement Center
- Cheer Practice will begin August 5, 2025
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 6pm - 7:30pm @ Historic High School
Additional Program Information:
- Any participants that turns 12 before July 31 will need to contact Dinwiddie Middle School at 804-469-4280.
- Teams will compete in the Chesterfield Quarterback League and games will be played at various locations around Central Virginia.
